Put A Little Love In Your Heart

Put A Little Love In Your Heart ~Three Chord Song

This is the Guitar that I learned on,
Then one day I got out my sharpies
&
This is what I came up with :)

C
Think of your fellow man lend him a helping hand
F                         C
Put a little love in your heart

You see it's getting late oh please don't hesitate
F                         C
Put a Little love in your heart

C                        G7
And the world  will be a better place
C                        G7
And the world  will be a better place
F   C    F   C   F        C         G7
For you  and me  you just wait  and see

C
Another day goes by and still the children cry
F                         C
Put a little love in your heart

If you want the world to know we won't let hatred grow
F                         C
Put a little love in your heart

Repeat #2

C
Take a good look around and if you're looking down
F                         C
Put a little love in your heart

And I hope when you decide kindness will be your guide
F                         C
Put a little love in your heart

Repeat #2

F                         C
Put a little love in your heart

Each and every day
F                         C
Put a little love in your heart

There's got to be a better way
F                         C
Put a little love in your heart

Don't you think it's time we start
F                         C
Put a little love in your heart

Have a great day, and keep a song in your heart,
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)

  1. Darnit Connie, those F's are hard!!!
I am starting back up with lessons tomorrow. I had to take some time off. Life was too busy and I was too stressed. More than I knew.
If I drew with a sharpie on my guitar, it would look like my nieces did it! Yours is gorgeous!

    1. Hi Cindy, so good to hear from you. Now, that your house is sold, you should have a little time to relax and I'm happy to hear that you are back at your lessons. I've thought about taking lessons, but since i've taught myself . . . well, they may try to chance some hand positions that I'm comfortable with. When I started playing, I had a fellow musician ask me if I wanted to play to accompany my singing, or if I wanted to learn to play for the reason of becoming a very good musician. Well, I play for fun and I know that I will never be great, but I do have a great time :) I'm very fortunate to have many friends that play and when I have questions, they are great to get help from. Some of the group that I play with have been playing for over 50 years. When I sing a song with a difficult instrumental part in it . . . well I do the main song and I let them take over for the instrumental :) Works for me, LOL.

    1. Hi, Karen told me about a Glamping trip in the spring here Spokane. I have not had any practice driving my motorhome except the day I purchased it. On the two trips that we took Steve did the driving and now it is covered for winter. In the spring I intend on taking it out and getting use to it, so whether I make that trip depends on that and on trips to my daughter's. I am on call in the spring to help out (granddaughter sitting so she can study) during finals for winter and spring quarters. I would love to know about any local glamping trips. if I can't make that one, I may make another :)
