My grandma had...I know what you are talking about. My grandma had this huge old organ in her living-room. One of those that had places for pictures and lots of little shelves going up the back. Well, every time I ask grandma to play me a song, she played, "Let's Go Down To The River". Grandma has been gone almost 50 years now and to this day, I do not know if it was her favorite song, or the only one that she could play, LOL. Every time I hear it I think of my sweet little grandma, her cute little cottage home and the sunbonnets she wore almost every day. She had everyday bonnets and Sunday go to meeting bonnets . . . thanks for bring back that memory today. Sounds like we both have wonderful memories of our lovely grandmas :) Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6288503135708293201.post-24622430372587531282013-05-29T07:29:00.448-07:002013-05-29T07:29:00.448-07:00Connie, whenever I'm in need of a pick-me-up, ...Connie, whenever I'm in need of a pick-me-up, I pull out my grandmother's old hymnal and play some of her favorites. It makes me feel closer to her even though she's been gone for almost 20 years. Thanks! -- JanJanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05279890283110081126noreply@blogger.com
